Classroom based learning has multiple benefits and may be the best fit for students to pursue their training and education goals. Classroom style training uses a combination of games, presentation, demonstration, discussion, multi media and group based projects to train students in their selected industry field. Our classroom based programs are designed for and accommodate a range of learners and take into account peoples different circumstances not a one size fits all approach.
  • Programs run school based hours during the school term
  • Programs do not run over school holidays
  • Classes start at 9.00am and finish at 3.00pm on scheduled days
  • Students have access to computers, interactive whiteboards, iPads
  • Programs are set up to mimic real work place environments undertaking real workplace tasks
JSW works collaboratively with other agencies. Individual student progress and attendance where is it applicable is reported to various agencies such as the Department of Education, the Department of Human Services (Centrelink), Job Service Agencies (in the South West agencies such as Employment Plus, Max Employment and Skillhire) and Disability Employment Networks (in the South West agencies such as Forest Personnel, Advanced Personnel Management and CRS Australia). Our programs focus on assisting individuals to build and grow their self esteem and confidence.
