JSW Training & Community Services (JSW) is a not for profit, community based charity; which has been a leading provider of community services in the South West for over 20 years. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we deliver nationally accredited training in multiple industry areas both on and off the job.
Our team is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Certificate II in Business Trainer and Assessor; and we are on the hunt for a person whose creative approach will reflect their passion for education and making a positive difference in our student’s lives by supporting them to achieve their full potential.
The aim is to provide an alternative high quality, educational and targeted program for critically at educational risk Year 11 and 12 public school students who have poor literacy and numeracy and have been disengaged from school for significant periods of time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting training and assessment and facilitating in class workshops to the students in Certificate II in Business in Busselton; guiding them through their educational journey using a variety of methods of communication and facilitation skills. The qualification will be delivered face to face and will draw on current and relevant industry frameworks and practices. We encourage the use of both online and traditional training methods that builds networks and works collaboratively with local industry. The contract is 7 days a fortnight starting on the 29th January (you will be prepared to come to Bunbury 29th-31st January for meetings about the program). Delivery starts on the 5th February in Busselton.

Current Western Australian Driver’s Licence
Current Working with Children Clearance
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 (including the LLN unit) or TAE40116
Minimum Certificate II in Business
At least 2 years industry experience

Demonstrated experience in the delivery of training and assessment in the VET sector
Strong project management skills with the ability to work autonomously
