At JSW NDIS, we’re always looking for ways to support our participants in learning, social interaction, and self-management as they transition from school to employment. We create person-centered plans that empower individual skills development, confidence, and independence in the world of work. For some participants, this includes launching a microenterprise.
Our experienced staff identified such an opportunity for Hudson and helped him create “Hudson’s Hearty Hounds” dog treats. Hudson has been actively involved in every step of the process, from creating his business name and designing his logo to crafting a list of ingredients and making his first batch of treats.
Hudson’s hard work and dedication have already paid off, as he has secured a café willing to sell his dog treats to customers who enjoy a coffee with their pooches. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a successful venture for Hudson. We are excited to continue developing this opportunity with him, supporting his growth and fostering his entrepreneurial spirit.
At JSW NDIS, we believe in the potential of every individual and are committed to providing the support and resources needed for success. Great work, Hudson! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Hudson’s Hearty Hounds.
