Dean Fraser

Dean Fraser is the Manager of Employment and Career Services at JSW, guided by a clear belief that good employment services are built on trust, collaboration, and respect for people’s lived experience.

Working closely alongside his team, Dean focuses on creating safe, supportive environments where staff are empowered to do their best work and participants are supported to build confidence, capability, and meaningful futures. He values openness, accountability, and learning together—ensuring decisions are grounded in both evidence and empathy.

With several decades of experience across employment services, disability, mental health, and community development, Dean brings a strong understanding of the challenges people face when navigating work and life transitions. He is particularly committed to inclusive practice, regional opportunity, and approaches that recognise the whole person, not just their job outcome.

In his role at JSW, Dean leads with humility and purpose, partnering with his team to continuously improve services and create employment pathways that are fair, realistic, and genuinely life‑changing.
