Travis Sprigg
Travis Sprigg is the Chief Executive Officer and College Director of JSW and South West Community College.
Travis considers it a privilege to lead both organisations, which play a pivotal role in supporting individuals to unlock their potential and in helping communities and regions achieve their best. He leads committed teams delivering education, training, and community services that support young people and adults to build skills, confidence, and meaningful pathways into further learning and employment.
Central to Travis’s leadership is a deep respect for the people he works alongside. He leads passionate, values-driven staff who bring care, professionalism, and genuine commitment to their work with clients, students, families, and communities. He believes the quality of outcomes achieved is directly linked to the capability, wellbeing, and culture of the teams delivering the work.
With a background in corporate banking and the private sector, Travis brings a disciplined focus on good governance, financial sustainability, and long-term thinking to the not-for-profit sector, while remaining deeply committed to purpose, inclusion, and community connection.
In 2025, Travis completed the Social Impact Fellowship, which strengthened his understanding of systems change, collaboration, and sustainable social impact. He has a particular interest in impact investment and social enterprise models that support resilient, regionally based services and is currently completing his Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors qualification.
Beyond his executive roles, Travis is actively involved in leadership and governance across the South West. He serves on multiple boards, is a member of the Executive of the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participates in the CEO Roundtable, and mentors emerging leaders through the South West Leaders Forum.
Travis is a strong advocate for the role not-for-profit organisations play in creating opportunity, building capability, and strengthening communities, and for the importance of leading these organisations with professionalism, accountability, and care.
