This course will give you the skills to communicate and work collaboratively with educators and colleagues, as well as to support the holistic wellbeing, health and safety of all children. You will master the skills that you need to effectively help children learn and become confident and involved learners. During your studies, you will also learn how to support children with behavioural issues.

The course will train you to navigate and comply with all the current legal and industry related requirements, policies and procedures. You will become adept at supporting planned education programs in early childhood settings.

Classroom delivery pathway over a 37-week period to students attending face to face classes over three (3) days per week Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, one day per week of work placement – Tuesday and includes 2 weeks full time block placement in weeks 32 and 33.

The successful completion of this qualification is a prerequisite for the Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care.
