STUDENT SURVEYS
The Department of Training & Workforce Development (DTWD) systematically surveys publicly funded students as part of their outcome measures to validate audit findings, and establish levels of satisfaction with private RTO performance. Feedback may include seeking information on the quality and quantity of training delivery, and to identify any concerns that students, have regarding the performance and conduct of an RTO.
Traditionally DTWD have used online surveys, however up until June 2022, these online surveys will be complemented by telephone surveys conducted by an External Research Company appointed by the DTWD called Thinkfield.
Please note: Thinkfield is bound by its privacy obligations and conducts the survey using internal resources only. Thinkfield is also a member of the Australian Data and Insights Association (ADIA) and is a company member of The Research Society. They are therefore bound by The Research Society’s Code of Professional Behaviour and the Commonwealth Privacy Act.
The telephone survey will predominately be to students who have not previously had the opportunity to provide feedback and will include students who have not provided an email address or students from RTOs where the return rate on online surveys have been low or nil.
Students may be called by Thinkfield to ask a series of questions based around training experiences whilst studying at JSW. All information provided is confidential.
