Ty has been receiving employment support through JSW for the past couple of years, and during that time, his passion for native animals and wildlife—especially rabbits—has truly shone. Each week, Ty enjoys visiting local pet stores and recently even spent time at a rabbit farm. Through consistent support and growing confidence, Ty took the bold step of independently asking for a work placement opportunity.
His initiative paid off—Ty has now secured work experience with South West Pets in a role tailored perfectly to his interests. His responsibilities include cleaning the rabbit cages and ensuring each rabbit is calm and comfortable before returning them to their enclosure. Ty takes great pride in his work, his uniform, and of course, the bonus of daily rabbit cuddles.
